Yuck & Yum

This morning I once again tried some Greek yogurt. Yogurt is not my favorite food in general, but I'm seriously having a hard time getting used to it. I've tried both Dannon and Yoplait, and this Yoplait Non-Fat Blueberry is so far the less than desirable of the two.

Thankfully I ended my breakfast with some fresh raspberries and they helped brighten the rest of my meal.

(Thanks to Lori for the idea on taking pictures of reactions to food and my daughter who was my personal photographer this morning.)

  1. I love the pics! Maybe greek yogurt isn't for you. I don't think we should have to eat things that taste terrible to us. I like Yoplait's strawberry greek yogurt the best. Of course, I also like the blueberry so maybe you wouldn't.

  2. LOL! You need to try a real brand of greek yogurt. Get a 2% Fage container and add some honey to it. It will change your life.

  3. Good Morning!
Don't worry about the length of your comments on my blog at all! I loved it! I feel a friendship with you. I'm sure we have lots in common. I also love seeing pictures on the other blog. Maybe I will soon get the nerve to post one of me. I am working on loving myself and not worrying about anyone else's opinions of me (except maybe my husband and kids????). I had to get used to yogurt too! I still can't do cottage cheese! YUCK!

  4. I'm with you Leah I hate yogurt. I've tried it many different ways, many different flavours and it's just something I don't like and you know what it's ok ;-)

  6. Yeah, the kind of greek yougart you ate is really nasty imho. Try some Greek God's Greek yougart. I love the Honey flavored. I can find it at Hyvee in the health section, but I'm not sure if you have Hyvees where you live.

Of course, there IS the simple fact that maybe you're just made not to like yougart. :) That's okay too!!! WE in the blogging world support you!

    Cheers!

  7. I think Stonyfield Oikos Greek Yogurt is the best. Also I often will slice up a cucumber and some onion and then stir in Greek yogurt for a side dish with some salt and pepper. Maybe you would like that.

  9. I tried a low-fat recipe for a carmelized onion dip that used Greek yogurt as a base. Love carmelized onions... can't do Greek yogurt! I'll try again just using plain old low fat sour cream.
